You can enter this competition individually, in a group, or through your school.
2. Erbacce Prize Submission 2023
The last submission date is 30th April 2023, and it is free to enter this annual competition.
Only one submission per person is allowed. Moreover, 5 pages of poetry along with previously published poems are accepted.
The winner of this competition will get a publishing contract with embrace-press. Runners will get either a chapbook or a perfect bound book.
Four other poets will get a chance to be featured in each of the quarterly copies.
3. The Creative Future Writing Award
The deadline for this competition is 14th May, and it is open to UK residents only.
Competitors should be over 18, and this year’s theme is X.
There are various types of awards for the first four positions.
The Platinum award contains 75-dollar cash and one year’s membership from the poetry society and society of authors.
With it, chapter and verse assessment via the literary consultancy and online masterclass course is included in the platinum prize.
The Gold award contains 50-dollar cash, a manuscript assessment, an online course, and one year’s membership from the society of authors and poetry society.
The Silver award contains 25-dollar cash, a manuscript assessment, one year’s membership from the poetry society, and a copy of the artists’ and writers’ yearbook.
The Bronze award contains a copy of the artists’ and writers’ writing guide, six months of writers’ online digital membership, and one year’s digital subscription to Mslexia Magazine.
4. Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest
The deadline for this competition is 1st April and is open to every age group.
As the name shows, this competition focuses on best-humor poems. Published, unpublished, and simultaneous submissions are accepted.
Poems should be of a maximum of 250 lines.
The winner will get $2,000 and a two-year gift certificate.
The second one will get $500.
The next ten winners will get $100.
These twelve entries will be published online.
5. Eugene Paul Nassar Poetry Prize
This writing competition is from Utica College which has no entry fees.
The submission should be a minimum of 48 pages long.
With it, you have to submit a complete entry form, two copies of the complete poetry book, and a CV of the author’s accomplishments.
The winner of this competition will get $2000, and a chance to teach a class at Utica University.
6. Sustainable Arts Foundation Writing Awards
The deadline to submit these awards is 24th February, and awards will be announced on May 12.
This poetry contest has a $20 entry fee, and you should have a child living with you to qualify for this competition.
Poets can submit up to 10 poems.
Twenty finalists will be announced and each will get $5000 cash as an award.
